Anna Seymour fell into insurance completely by accident, nearly twenty years ago. A quick trip to her agent’s office turned into a job interview, which landed Anna a position, which inspired a whole new career path. Anna says she fell in love with the industry, and today can’t imagine doing anything else. She worked in personal lines coverage (home, auto, renter’s, and MA condo insurance), before transitioning into small business accounts. For more than 10 years, she has handled large commercial account marketing and management.
Anna holds a long list of industry designations: the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation, the Accredited Advisor in Insurance-Management (AAI-M) designation, the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, and the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
Anna says her favorite part of the job is “bringing real value to the insurance transaction”–a working engagement that extends far beyond the policy itself. She teams up with her clients to flesh out their risk management strategies, ultimately helping to define competitive advantages and achieve overarching organizational goals. Anna enjoys solving problems, and believes her ability to do so is often key to winning her clients’ trust. Above all, she believes clients should not have to stress about their insurance.
Anna Seymour is the mother of four daughters. Because she was a bit of a tomboy growing up, she finds it hilarious that she ended up surrounded by girls. But of course she wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. Anna also has three cats and six chickens.
Every summer, Anna enjoys vacationing at a lakeside cabin in Maine, with extended family. She loves gardening, and being outdoors and “away from the hustle and bustle.” She also loves the quiet and colorful landscape of Maine in the fall.
